Laser cut into thick pine, each art piece is hand painted, signed and numbered by Kathleen Keifer. Each painting is unique.

You can see art in person at Kathleen’s exhibition in the Embassy Suites beginning at noon Thursday, November 19! The night sky, filled with dreams and snow and cheers is painted with hope and infinite care by Kathleen.

“The number 13 has always been lucky for Notre Dame and we all hope this upcoming historic 13th game of the 2024 season—the first College Football Playoff game against Indiana—will once again lead us to a pot of gold and a national championship.

The luck of the Irish began with the University’s Founder’s Day, October 13th: The Feast of Edward the Confessor, the Patron Saint of Rev. Edward Sorin, C.S.C.

It’s notable that Coach Rockne’s football jersey number was 13. It was the very same jersey he wore during the David and Goliath victory over Army in 1913–an undefeated season!  Knute Rockne also coached for 13 years.

Fast forward to 2024. We all love that Riley Leonard’s jersey is 13, his birthday, and that CJ Carr is lining up for that lucky number 13 next season. It’s an impossible task to list all of the Irish athletes who proudly wore 13!

And Pete Bevacqua is our 13th Athletic Director, which feels extra lucky to me!” -Kathleen Keifer
