Just as Father Sorin and his team built the University of Notre Dame one brick at a time beginning in 1843, the coach of the football team builds victories one brick at a time. Legend Lou Holtz put together a National Championship in 1988. We came heartbreakingly close in 2025…2026 is our season!

Once again I’m relying upon the wood artistry of Notre Dame alumni Scott Ismail for my “brick canvas”. Scott sourced Yellowheart wood from Brazil as being the closest match to the marl from Saint Mary’s Lake.
